BIRD WATCHING

One of the best ways to see Uganda is through birdwatching. With a lot of trees, animals and plants in this country it’s easy for you find some interesting birds that would otherwise never cross paths with humans! This hobby has been around since colonial times when people noticed similarities between different types of birds so they could identify them easier (even though most didn’t know what an avian was).

There are many great places to birdwatch in Uganda. We have compiled a list of some of the best locations for birdwatchers in Uganda. If you are into birds, then this may be the perfect trip for you!

 

Forget what you know about bird watching. The best way to see birds up close and personal is not by binoculars or with your naked eyes, but rather through the lenses of a camera lens! Visit  Ugandas top birding destinations including; Lake Bunyonyi, Kibale National Park, Murchision Falls National Park, Mabamba swamps and Semuliki National park for an experience like no other when it comes time for some nature photography this Spring Break vacation after college graduation.
